San Amerigo is my fictional South-american state.
Flag and roundels

As mentioned in page 2, the FASA (Fuerza Aerea del San Amerigo) has a long-lived bomber squadron, actually flying Martin B-57B.

I've picked up an Italeri B-57 at the shop one month ago, and built it this evening (easy build, nice kit!)

I plan to paint it in an exotic camo, inspired by Bolivian T-33s for example.

The Canberra was really a nice-looking aircraft
There would be some cool kitbashing to make with such a beautiful fuselage       (Hunter wings would be awesome!!!)

:tornado:

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Going to be cool! Canberras of Amerigo Squadron!

Excellent, Archi!!!
I wondered when was I going to see a build of yours OOB!!
I love your kitbashes/scratchbuilds.

What else are you going to do to this beautiful bird?

(yeah, someday--someday I will build something Out Of The Box, too)

Dear Rafa

I have to say that these days I'm more interested in naval aircrafts (AEW, fighters, attack) and profiles (have you seen this aeronavale Skylancer ?)

Alas, I haven't models in the stash corresponding to this interest (it could change, I've atempted my first bid on E-bay for a Heller Etendard IV, and I plan to buy an
A-7 this weekend...I really want to rebuild the Aeronavale  ;) )

Waiting for that, I've decided to build this San Amerigo bomber.
I know you're Spanish speaker (I mean you speak "spanish" language) so I've a question for you.

What sounds best ?

Fuerza Aerea del San Amerigo (FASA) ?
o
Ejercito del Aire del San Amerigo (EASA) ?

I plan to paint this thing today. First atempt at fractal camo (well, actually a kind of fractal camo)... got some ideas on the subject...

Stay tunned !!!

Dear Boeing-san

We haven't see the sun for two weeks now - that's not a joke!-  <_<
Gloomy weather...

Decals had been printed on paper, with a high-resolution color jet printer.

Archi, for Central/South American Air forces the naming custom is Fuerza Aérea, so it must read as

Fuerza Aérea de San Amerigo (should say "de", not "del")

And FASA sounds better for a spanish speaker. The whole name sounds respectable and intimidating, from this side of the pond ;)

Ok, FASA sounds cool

Photobucket has gone into maintenance this morning (a good move, seems that there was some crap hidden there)

 <_<

I've started to paint it... no pics for 3 days, I'm out for the weekend

FASA is cool.  Glad you're sticking with it.  Believe the acronym was also some role-playing game's company but yours will be more memorable.

The insignia is completely believable too.   Would look great on a T-33 T-tail I'm working on....hmmm....

No copyright on my insignas, mr JHM! You can use it on your T-33
(T-tail T-bird ?     )

Too cool!  Thanks.  I will await to see what the overall markings for your current FASA bird will look like and adapt them to my own, home-made decals for my T-Tailed T-Bird!
