Thanks, Steve!!! I am a crappy photographer. Maybe the camera wanted to celebrate too!!! B)

My dear Mav: I would like to have the rest of my old builds still alive. But you are right on the money: Cardboard (Cardboad, Yum!!!) Rules!

B777LR: Your comment made my mouth froth. YOU LIVE IN PARADISE!!!!

Thank you

OK, I know I can't stop scratchbuilding. Someday, I will build something OOB....

Cardboard Yum indeed!!!!!  I love the splinter F/A-22 & the Chinese J-XX especially, but all are good.  Rafa, I know some of the models are your own creation but do you get some from printed sources?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hola Mossie!! Thank you!!
Yes. I have some preprinted, standard models. Mainly free Internet downloads. Lots and lots of them in the 'net. But I enjoy the most when I'm scratchbuilding. The dropship, movie stealth and the mustang are standard colored (though I print them in B/w) downloaded models.

Thank you for sharing

Rafa those are some truly amazing works of art you've created! I'm particularly impressed with your wonderful variety of camo schemes. I am very inspired by them!

This is also the first time I think I've ever seen an F-86 made from cardboard. I am just amazed and astounded at what you can do.

Definately Cardboard Yum!

Dang, Raf!  Those are some nice builds!

Too bad the actual tracked FCS doesn't look like your renditions.  They'd look less silly (that's about the only way I can describe the latest ones...).

I also liked the F-86.
Remember, it was in one of those that the sound barrier was first broken over Venezuelan skies (Aragua to be exact).   B)

Rafa, you are tempting me to give up styrene and start using cardboard! Some really fun work you've done there. Too many cool ones to pick a favorite that's for sure :)

Productive, imaginative camarade! Awesome work you did...  :o
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Rafael

Thank you, gents!!!
I can't even start to tell you how much fun it is!!!

Gracias

I like your models. And I am thinking it as a way to make mocks...

BTW: Your Mustang is almost perfect and I think it was not easy.

Rafa? Did you know that the Sharu civilisation started in the Rafa system? That is, in star wars

Rafael, those LAV-25s are masterpieces!

I'm not worthy...

Baldrick: I followed Mr Da Vinci's instructions to the letter.
Blackadder: Even though you can't actually read.
Baldrick: No, but I have done a lot of Airfix models in my time.

Rafael

Thanks Marko!!!
I really price them much, too. They were my first time developing a 3D model from profiles. They were easy to do because of the boxy shape, but the trick was in the front glacis, wich has a funny shape. The supporting interior structure is a rectangular box to wich the wheels (made from styrofoam) are glued. The Turrets are 1 piece of corrugated cardboard. They were cut longitudinally to insert the gun and its supporting rod into one of the sinuosities of the cardboard, achieving swivelling action.

Thanks for sharing,

I actually tried to make a paper/cardboard model once, a B-58 Hustler I downloaded from somewhere but I lost nerves in the first five minutes. So, back to styrene, resin and photoetch for me.

I still have that Hustler stashed somewhere on my HDD, together with some Space shuttles and SMS Rhein, old German monitor...
