Brian you must be Alvis's relative somewhere along the line... it's 'F-15reaking bizarre' not F-15 bis.  A minor point, those are AIM-7 Sparrows........ (ducks quickly in case ppl think he's a JMN)

Brian you are so right. Spats do improve the coolness factor on any aircraft!!!!!!!!!

mmm things I need to add spats to

f-16
f-35
f-22
f-4
Klingon Bird of prey........not an aircraft I know but still would look cool with spats

I was having a bit of a crap day until I saw that BdB, brought back the smile on my face!  Keep em coming!!!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Think my brain hit its OSP! While I'm not much for spats or biplanes, I have to say you carried it off quite well!

I'm glad this silly little model made you folks laugh. I was chuckling to myself the enitre time while building it.

Maverick, thanks for the correction on the missiles. As I know very little about modern weapons, I tend to call any kind of wingtip missile a Sidewinder.

Stay tuned, there are more projects in the works!

P.S. An F-4 Phantom biplane with spats, now there's an idea!

Eddie M.

You gave me a big smile with your imagination. Outstanding work and beautiful execution! B) BRAVO ZULU!!

Hey, I thought this was a "what-if" ?  Over the Ural mountains last year, we saw this jet:

cthulhu77

It was obviously some sort of "fly by wire" gizmo...no pilot, either that, or he was ducking down to pick up a glass of vodka...

My vote is for the vodka! Are you sure it was seen over the Urals? Looks more like it could've been spotted near Area 51. ;)

Thanks for the cool Photoshopping Greg!
