QuoteI am not making any plans or setting any goals because for me the model building process is very fluid.

Just see where the wind blows me
Prity much the same here realy. a few planned builds to fit in with club and SIG themes along the way but nothing else planned.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

QuoteI'm gonna get a whole bunch of models done this year......I heard a rumor that Nev was coming to visit some old pals in MI, and he's gonna make a pit stop in Sarnia to crack the whip ! So you'd better look out to, Rally !

;)
Nev may be invading Michigan?  Oh, great, I have to be on my best behavior...
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

Four big builds for sure, probably with a lot of little ones inbetween.

 1. Finish the Hind  ('bout time, huh?)

 2. Sea Tiger modification of Gato class sub in 1/72nd (already started)

 3. The Belafonte II  (life aquatic anyone?)

 4. The Zissou Catalina (pby mod)

At this point, I'm only going to commit to a Fuerza Aerea Argentina Matador in Malvinas markings with Martin Pescadors, Sidewinders, and cannon.  Beyond that, I hope to start working on some other projects like a 1/48 Harrier FG.11 in show markings and a 1/72 Harrier FG.11 in operational markings.

I've done 12/year for the past 2 years, so I'm shooting for at least the same, hopefully a couple more.

So far the list of what I'll probably build (based on ideas I've got going at the moment) is:

Tamiya He162-Secret Santa build
Hasegawa 1/48 A-4E-been itching to do one all this year
Hasegawa 1/72 Beaufighter-havent done a prop in ages and this kit looks lovely
Monogram 1/48 F-14 or F-18
Monogram 1/48 F-20
Monogram 1/72 SR-71
Hasegawa 1/48 AV-8B+
Revell 1/72 Hunter-my third!
Hasegawa 1/48 Lear 35

Hopefully the fine folks at Trumpeter or Revell will also bless us with a BAC Lightning too next year-if so I'll be doing at least a couple.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Hi fellows,
My  Marseille MIG will probably be finished in January, although I started it in 2006.
Then another MIG in night lozenge.
Then a 109 with the yellow eyes, not a Whiff.
Then the P-1101, probably in lozenge, but maybe not.
That makes at least 4 models, three wiffs.
After that, what?

NARSES2

Don't have a solid plan but will be half real, half wif as per norm.

Like Leigh I really do want to get cracking with the project to build each Spit mark but in 1/72.

Might be able to do better then this year in terms of output however  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Shasper

Not commiting, but I do entened to finish 3 kits that have been stagnant for at least 2-3 yrs, 2 V-22s for IDAF spec-ops (waiting on Loachnut resin stuff) and my chinese F-20 chopjob. All three are under the Phoenix GB. After that we'll have to see what comes up, but I hope to push past 20 next year.

Quote

Like Leigh I really do want to get cracking with the project to build each Spit mark but in 1/72.

Well for me it's all the "major" marks in 48th, THEN all the marks in 72nd + Spitefuls, Seafangs and Attackers should gimme about 63 Spitfires on my shelf

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Leigh's Models

Svaz

I think one every three months is not unreasonable considering my schedule. Put me down for 4 next year. Of course, I have some that are mostly or partially built so maybe if I can get those done I can squeeze out two, maybe three, more ...
Someday, I'll even finish a model ...

AirJim

I hope for six.  I would love to finish 12.

Scooterman

My only plans are something for the HARSIG/WHIFSIG build, whatever I got myself into with group builds here aand finishing my damn RN Scooters!

But of course there's always targets of oppertunity!

I'm trying to get the motivation to do anything! I have loads of ideas in the ships/tanks/planes area. I should land a new job soon, settle down somewhere, and get back to it. Until then I just trawl this site to keep my inspiration going.
