Inspired by the bazmaster, I decided to do a simple build this weekend...resisting temptation to open up the rear bomb bay or detail the cockpit, I've been puttying my heart out today and gearing up for some airbrush action as soon as the primer dries...

Just call me Speed Racer...although, those little cannons underneath the nose looked too...wimpy.  And, wouldn't a nightfighter look better with a Molin's ?  Heheheheheheheeee...

Lookin' good so far Greg, but I don't think the Molin's gun is necessary if your Mosquito is aready packin' a giant can of pineapple that I'm sure could punch a hole through just about any ship!

"Chunky" pineapple at that!  Thank god for those Merlin engines...LOL

First set of camo laid on tonight...may have to cook dinner for the Mrs., and then see if I can airbrush some more:

Captain Canada

Looking good, Gurg ! It's got some kind of Finnish look to it like that......also looks like some kind of camo that an evil frog-race of humans might choose !

Now get back to work !

Wow Greg that camo is simply incredible! There's the touch of the artist in every one of your builds. I'm enjoying your progress on this immensely.

Not too shabby... a few more fiddly bits (antenna, etc) and it should be completed...full write up to come up whenever Scott runs out of regular stuff, I suppose.
You know, for an older kit, the fit was quite nice...though the detail was sketchy at best.  Neat plane all in all, the J30.

Oh my goodness Greg! This has gotta be the best looking Mosquito I've ever seen! That incredible camo sets off those Swedish roundels perfectly (or is it the roundels that set off the camo?)!!! This one is an absolute blue-ribbon prize winner!

I am absolutely stunned by the artistic talent in this wonderful build!

You can't just post us incredible pics and leave us in the lurch regarding its origins!

Backstory, we need a backstory man!

BTW, have you ever thought of painting Hockey masks as a sideline?
