I brought back a 21st Century F-104G from the USA, she's a beauty!

Now, where to put her??

39" long.

Details, details!

Ollie

Gear up!!

Compared to a 1/48 F-80, which measures a mere 8" long...

I am seriously sitting here speechless.  I really don't know quite what to say.  That is one of the most beautiful jets I have ever seen.
Wow doesn't cover it.  That is absolutely f*ng amazing.

                 all that in a diecast?

Ollie

Well Greg, it took a long 5 minutes to assemble and I was done.

Here's the USAF version : http://www.21stcenturytoys.com/productDeta...p?productID=761

:D

I have absolutly no merit whatsoever!

  :dum:

Lucky!  I've been wanting one but I can't justify getting one.

Congrats Ollie! that is an awesome bird!
I've got the same bird in a different scheme and have been thinking about a repaint but decals would have to be home made.

21st Century and BBI (Blue Box International ) both make beautiful 1/18 scale aircraft. I have been buying them for my father in law since they first started making them. He hangs them in his garage.

I wanted one, but could not justifie the pain of trying to repaint in SEA (Both schemes offered are not the best, only bad thing against the Marinefleger bird is those gawd awful orange patches!)

yeah, I was wondering if you were going to repaint the plane as well.  Sometime I'd like to get my hands on their F-16 or F-18 and repaint them.

Great find indeed.
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

Rumour control has it they are going to do a couple Canuckky versions, the first being a Tiger meet scheme...I'm not holding my breath tho.
Of all the BIG plastic "kit"/toy planes the shop I work at carries, the 104s have sold the best. Even the MarinefliegerDartenplanes!!!

And i STILL don't have one!

The thing with the large 21st Century toys planes is that they are advised by serious modellers.  One of their chief modellers/advisers is a Canuck (at least by birth).   B)
