i havent got anything against the french. B) Just thought it was a bit strange that they can get customers that probably cant afford it as well as others.

I have read an article, a long time ago: "who paid for the so many Mirage 3/5 contracts?" (as the client countries had not the money to buy them). The answer was: the French taxpayers... Dassault got the contracts with full official approval, then the money did not come back, so Dassaut required the French government money, and got it - this was included in the official budget line "help to the Thirld World". Better than food and medicine?
But having a bad governement is not specific to the French, you know... Don't condemn the whole French people because the leaders made something bad. At each election here, the government team looses (re-elected presidents are the ones that lost at intermediate elections so were letting their opponents govern), always disapproved by the people, and this goes on and on, each team making its mistakes after the other...
