QuoteLooks fine Martin!

And what's the Blue Angel's bird, a 262?!
It's the Revell Me.P1099 built by Howard of Effingham. A beauty as was his FAA Gruman Tiger, which has inspired me to seek one out

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Radish

How about "Thunderclap"

Trevor's Messerschmitt in Blue Angels colouring was SUPERB, and his Grumman Tiger certainly looked very believeable, authentic and just, very nice.
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

In Tony Buttler's book British Secret Projects-Fighters & Bombers 1935-1950, there's a picture of the Hawker P.1040 which is a Sea Hawk with Tempest wings and it looks very similar to your idea.  I've a plan to make a model of this aircraft

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike
