How about "Thunderclap" :lol:

Trevor's Messerschmitt in Blue Angels colouring was SUPERB, and his Grumman Tiger certainly looked very believeable, authentic and just, very nice.
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

In Tony Buttler's book British Secret Projects-Fighters & Bombers 1935-1950, there's a picture of the Hawker P.1040 which is a Sea Hawk with Tempest wings and it looks very similar to your idea.  I've a plan to make a model of this aircraft

GEOFF! - how did i miss this one?  it's fabulous - there's something about early jets that really kicks my donkey  :wub:  :wub:

ummm...anybody got any shots of Howard's Tiger?  if they are a patch on his p.1099, then i really want to check it out.... :ph34r:
