Posted these originally on Starship Modeler when a kind soul pointed out I should put them up here as well.   This is a 1/48 scale scratchbuild (also working on a two-seater from a drawing in William Simone's F-107A book); the fuselage and cockpit are resin, the wings, tailplane, and fin are vacform.  Cut and spliced the markings from the Monogram F-100 kit, but ended up handpainting the most of the scheme; only a few of the stars haven't been retouched.  Still need to finish the cockpit, fueltank, details, and vacform a canopy.

Captain Canada

Wow, a scratchbuild, eh ? Looking good !

That would be a nice one to slip into a 'real' Thundernirds line-up, and see how many notice !

Cheers !
