Hi all,

Here it is, in progress work of the Revell kit, using the markings from the Hasegawa kit.

I'm not a good modeller, but this one has been fun.

Photos taken yesterday 19 October after work with my regular red wine drinking mate.

Hope you like it. Comments welcome.

Nice work lets see it again when it's done!

Allan,

Looks very colorful!
Painting the exhaust pipes looks like it might be a little tricky, no room for error there.
That Revell kit is really not bad, the canopy is too thick and the prop spinner is way off in the correct shape but the rest looks very good for one of those really older mold kits.

Looking forward to seeing the finished model.

:) Surprising colours, nice...
What is the glass of purple White Spirit for? cleaning the paintbrush or damping down the modeller's creative mind? :D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Allan,
I hope that stuff you're drinking is Aussie wine, and not some imported plonk!

Frist off, Love the Eastern Front TA152 Allan, really colourful, and that cammo would blend in nicely with the terrain. What JG will it turn out to be??

Secondly, Lee, thats the first time I've seen your Tiger TA152, it is simply stunningly beautiful.

Blody well done to both of you.

Sweet work Allan! As strange as it might sound, I find that complicated a paint job a bit too ... well intimidating. I suppose I should try, but I don't expect it to be as neat as that. Thanks for sharing and Aussie wines lately rock my world. Wolf Bass Yellow lable by the gallon pleeeeeese!
Getting back into modeling

Allan

Hi fellows,
Tophe, that red liquid is the drink that keeps me hanging on. Yes, it was Chateau Cardboard Aussie red.
I had a small disater with this model yesterday.
I got out the rubbing alcohol and a small sponge to wash it down prior to slapping on a spray coat of matt varnish and some of the dark grey patches (Vallejo) acutally rubbed off!!!!
Maybe  they weren't completely dry or something. But what's worse is that a small piece of one of the fuselage flashes also got washed away too.
I'll have to do a little surgery on that over the weekend -lucky I have some red deal sheet lying around.
I've got some Agama enamel dark grey that I'll use instead-I actually quite like Agama paint.
This time I'll make the grey patches a little smaller because the plane looks better with more prominent white areas.
Thanks for your kind comments blokes   I love the generous praise on this site.
