This is a wooden model produced by Keil Kraft in the 1950's. The printed areas include the decks/ flags/ sails and hull sides and stern. It's lucky that I have another wooden Privateer, to know how the rigging is, when finished. The ratlines are made from Evergreen rod, I know, you can't see much of it, but the upper pieces are done on the fore and main mast.  The scale is around 1/120 (give or take)

How big is that in 1/120th Glen - the real things were tiny.

I have a wooden Endeavour to build sometime - 50th b/day present and I'm 53 now !

Great model by the way

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Chris,
Hi, the 1/120 was a rough guess, so I decided to take a more accurate check of the scale. As it is the same size as the Keil Kraft 'Golden Hind', I used the Airfix model as a template. The Airfix model has an overall hull length (Galley to Beak) of 16" (40.5cm) (1/72)The other model has a hull length of 11" (28cm) giving the overall length as 96'. The wooden model is scaled at 1/105, not the 1/120 as I thought it was. "Sorry about that Chief!"
I know it's Keil Kraft, but with that scale, you'd think it was early Revell!
