I picked mine up at the Nats last year, but they should be easily available through Hannants

that looks soooo sweet, suits it too ... theres designs that actually look like that from the late 80/90's tucked away at Warton, unfortunately they only got as far as display models!

What a beauty!  That's the best looking 1.44 build I've seen up to date.

I had no idea the 1.44 was so large.  I had actually pictured it as a much smaller aircraft.  That's what you get for assuming.  You have officially added yet another project to my impossible pile. :dum:

PS:  The backstory is quite plausible.  The Russians are building some very capable aircraft lately, and the cold war is (ahem) over.  Why not?  Maybe the US should dump the F/A-18E and pick up a navalized version of the 1.44. . .  The durability of the Russian airframe with advanced American avionics.  Hmmmmm. . .

Beautiful!!

I built that kit a while back and its easily heads and shoulders above Zvezda's usual fain both fit and engineering.

I understand NeOmega made a resin cockpit set for it shortly after it came out, so maybe you guys planning to buy a 1.44 could justify a little extra purcase for yourselves and you new MiG ;)
