Hi fellows,
Going really mad with the dig camera but it really was an astute purchase for Christmas.

I'm really pleased with the way this model is turning out although one or maybe both wings have warped a little while it was stored in the hot garage waiting for the house to dry out after the flood.
At least it isn't a tail-sitter.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

KP kit. I have a lot of them in my stash. Different camo, different markings, whiffs ... who knows?
Will die without understanding this world.

Looks good! And whats even more important its very original.

Try taking some pictures of your models outdoors, you will like the results because of the better lighting. :)

I took you advice, Matrix, and here is the result--pretty good I must say.

That's the ticket!  "Property of [what?] Government" on that second shot?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Allan,

The sunlight makes the colors look much better, also your pictures look like they are more in focus.

WARNING: Just be aware that some plastics are very sensitive to the UV rays, I found out the hard way a couple years ago when a Heller Fw 190 was ruined by the wing warping upwards after only being outside for about 30 min. And it was winter when this occured and a cool day. I have had other models outside on a hot summer day for much longer with no ill effects, so far only the older Heller and Airfix models seem to be affected by the UV rays.
I had an old Italeri Ju 188 that had the decals starting to turn brown from age and I thought if I left it outside on a sunny day the sun would bleach out the decals so I tried it and the decals did lose some of the aged look to them but started to flake off in spots, the model showed no signs of the plastic warping even though this was a very old model built in the 1980s and it was exposed to the hot sun a full day.

Hi fellows,
That wheelie bin has Property of ACT Government on it
That's Australian Capital Territory.
Each house is issued with two, one green and one yellow.
The green is for ordinary rubbish and the yellow for stuff that can be recycled.
But somehow or other we have wound up with two green ones, so every year around October I fill one up with water and then add blood and bone and some cow manure and then let it fizz in the summer sunshine for a month.
It turns into a coffee-like mixture that I dilute with water and put on my tomatoes and chillies.

Allan,
Thanks for the additional pics of this little gem. It's a real treat to see such a fantastic build in all its true glory!
