Used from the start of 2015, this Y-22 space tug was designed to shift freight between the International Space Station and the new Mars Liner.

Model : Revell 1/72 Revell YF-22 Raptor.
Modifications: Removed wings/tails/tailplanes and turned it upside down. Added 'bits and pieces' rocket nozzles, the locking mechinism and a new cockpit. The intakes are now reverse thrusters.

Why? well I never did like the YF-22, loved the 23, and anyway, the 22 never looked better.

That reminds me...  I've got two YF-23 based Space Planes I need to finish up.  I just need some NASA style decals.  Time to buy a 1/144 shuttle...

Good work!

WAIT!!

I may have one! If so, I'll let you know. Get it out of my stash to make the wife a little happier and reduce the bend in the shelf slightly.  ^_^
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Cool, love the originality.
And the scale-bashing qualifies this as a Scale-O-Rama!

I'll try to put a starfield background in your pic later...
