In all fairness I think the price is "high end of reasonable"

I'd say that's subjective, and I'm someone who has occasionally spent *really* big if it's a subject I want - £200+ on a Planet Ju 390 and £150 on a Titan Find DSV2 Liberator to name but two.  Eight years ago, I nearly spent £500 on a 1:1 Dalek before sanity kicked in.

Totally agree with you Lee, and as for £500 for a Dalek ? I'd say that was good value

It was the shell.  I don't think the plunger, eyestalk or gun came with it.  IIRC, the seller had cast several (5-10?) from a fibreglass mould for a buyer who then backed out, so he was selling them as kits on eBay.  I really thought about it for a good ten minutes before thinking "where the hell do I put this?" - having seen one close up, they're not small.

I nearly got run over by one at the first Telford show I went to. They were collecting for Help For Heroes or something like that.

I'd be tempted even if it was just the shell.
