Gondor

Over the weekend, I intend to retrieve the two-seat version that I have and then proceed to have a look at it.

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

The one I have looked brilliant in the box, nice clean detail, no flash, but as I have found out before, that means nothing. The twin Pioneer I built comes to mind.
The dogs philosophy on life.
If you cant eat it hump it or fight it,
Pee on it and walk away!!

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three applies to a lot of kits. Everything will fit perfectly until you apply glue...

I do remember that very early eduard kits were based on other companies molds, usually with a detail set of conversion parts added by eduard. I have their Spitfire 21 which uses the Airkit Spitfire kit with etch and resin parts by eduard.

The Eduard Spitfire F21 is the Aeroteam limited run injection kit (dated 1997 - I bought one from Hannants at the last Nationals at Donnington), which itself is a copy of the CMR 1996 resin Spitfire F21.  It was released in 1998, as I bought a pair from Hannants at Telford that year.

The Airkit Spitfire F21 is an entirely different resin kit and was long out of production when the Aeroteam one was released.

Thanks for the correction Lee, I wasn't sure that I had the info correct.
