USN MH-71A

Here's my MH-71A Sea Tiger.  It's a 1/72 Italeri Eurocopter PAH-2, rearmed and repainted for use aboard USN ships, ala the Sea Apache.  I kept the gun, as I see this flying off of littoral combat ships (or other small ships), and it'd need it to engage small boats.  The Mavericks I'd make AGM-65F's, made for taking out ships.  I almost armed it with torpedoes, but realized I was down to only two left, and I'd want torps on all the pylons.

Ya know, I somehow wouldn't wanna be staring down that thing bobbing about in my NVN MTB. It would ruin my whole day, not to mention getting my socks wet.!

Like I said, 15 minutes here, 20 minutes there, and it eventually adds up to done models.

This one, as well as the SH-65D, the F-108, and the KA-50K were all done with their assembly and painting about a month or two ago.  They just needed araments and decals to be completed.

On the bench I've got four more models that need weapons and/or decals to be finished.  These include that USCG interdiction helo (thanks for the decals, Toad!), the naval A-10 (which has evolved into something a little different than first presented), an ASW variant of the E-2 (which has been waiting since January for me to finish), and another J-10 (as well as an Airfix 1/72 AH-64D which I really, really, really don't want to finish, as I don't like the model at all.  The plastic is soft, the parts are mis-shapen, and the pilots are those "I'm not an animal!" types of blobular pilot figures that probably are screaming to other pilot figures to kill them and put them out of their misery).

I can see that in some kind of Mediterranean Blue scheme in either Spanish or Italian markings, and I'm not a "rotor-head" at all
