F-4 phantom semi fixed gun pods

I have a few different versions of the F-4 without built in guns, so I thought, what can I do to remedy this. My infinitely wiffy Honduras air force boffins have come up with a 25mm gatling gun pod that fits in one of the from sparrow missile resesses. The ammunition is stored inside the aircraft, through a modified panel, and electric is fed to the guns motor from the aircraft also. I have test fitted one of the two versions I have made, and they look OK. I have yet to glue in the gun barrels and paint them, but I am happy, sorry the Honduras air force is happy with the result.

The radome of a "big radar" Phantom bulges both sideways and downwards. Are you sure shells from a Sparrow-bay-mounted gun will fire past it?

If it's touch-and-go, remember that by rotating the gatling mounting you can position the firing barrel anywhere, so by putting it in the outboard position, you get a little more clearance.

They have plenty of clearance on the F-4S, as that is what I built the super phantom from, so should be OK on the J model.

I have made three of them so far, but not fitted any as yet. I will try and get one attached to the super phantom, and take a picture of it attached.

I have loose fitted a pod to my super phantom, the pod needs some more PSR, then a repaint, but you can see what is happening.
