So I can show that I'm not just hanging about and shooting my mouth off all the time. I built this several years ago, and got it posted to Squadron's 'Reviews' page.

I'm quite pleased with the result, but do plan to make a proper US Army RAH-66 with all the mods that were in place at the time of cancellation.

Yeah, I got screwed though - a month after I finished the model, the sand-and-brown camouflaged IDF AH-64's started appearing...if I'd only known!!  <_<

Captain Canada

I can't see it ! I keep getting a 'page cannot be displayed' message.....

Argh...........

I'll try again later.

Wierd....now it's working ! Looking good ! Looks like the real thing, great job on the finish. Nice looking birds those, eh ? Too bad about the cancelation......but I could see adding that rotor system to a few other choppers.

Cheers !

So, what's keeping you from doing another one in sand and brown?  ;)

Fantastic, clean work, Patrick!  Noticed that the tires/tyres appear to be the same color as the rest of the helo itself and I imagine that must be intentional (i.e. purposely not some normal "rubber" color).  Is this because the tires are made of something unusual or just depicting the dusty conditions of their combat theatre???

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Mostly the fact that I am the world's SLOWEST modeller. Great at starting new projects, but never seem to finish anything.............you should see my in-progress 'parking lot'.

mmm, I know the feeling. about 1/4 of my stash is started and unfinished. But then again, my stash isn't that big   <_<
