I agree.  Its editing left a great deal to desire.  I flew in a 'Bou back in the late 1970s.  It was magic.  The pilot took it very seriously and flew tactically.  I next flew in 1982 as a "supernumerary" in the back to help kick out supplies.  We flew real "nap-of-earth" With load master sitting on the rear ramp

I did that once aboard a Chinook, not any old Chinook mind you, but 'Bravo November'! 

I doubt it was as exciting as being aboard a 'Bou though, we were maybe 100 kts too slow for that, but we were loooooow over Hampshire.

You'd be lucky, Kit.  Only lunatic RAAFies do that.  I was pure Army.  We only got to fly occasionally and then we kicked things out the arse.
