Thanks Thomas, and you may have mentioned it earlier, but unusually for one of your builds, that was a LONG time ago. 

That's the same thinking that had early WWII RAF fighters painted with one black and one white underwing colour. Very UN-camouflage really.

I do like the 1/2 & 1/2 RAF underscheme.  It might look good combined with late war green/grey.  It would certainly raise a few eyebrows.
