Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Breguet took an uncontrolled and unintended 1.5m dive from a display case to a concrete floor.  The tail first impact snapped the fuselage clean off just in front of the tail, chipped chunks out of the fins, dislodged a nacelle, knocked off an exhaust, and loosened an undercarriage leg.  One prop (they were not glued on) flew off never to be seen again (at least until I sell the stack of mag wheels i suspect they went under).

Here it is following a wreckscue.  I glued the tail and nacelle back on and replaced the chipped fins with horizontal stabs from a P40 glue bomb.  I made a new exhaust from styrene rod, reglued the loose leg, and cut down a pair of B17 props to fit.
I then touched up the camo paint using the same ones I used in the first place and painted the fins blue white and red using paint mixed to match the transfers.

Cor, that's a BRILL job Fred, you'd never know it was a wreck at one stage.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks guys.  The Special Hobby kit isn't bad (I think, the original build was a while ago) but the plastic is obviously brittle.

I have a SMER (ex Heller) 693 in the stash.  It's much cruder than this one - no interior at all and basic engine discs - and so is prime for whiffing.

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
