its a compromise that is needed to the audience can see the stars,  otherwise you cant make out faces due to the exterior light reflecting off the visors.
And as Adam Savage has said, any time hes talked to real space folks, ( as opposed to reel space folks) they all say they want the interior lights as well due to the " rule of cool"

but heres hoping its good pay rock,

I cant help but notice the sign on the front of her space suit. So the question is, will we see "Space Multiplication" or "Space Addition" as well?  ;D

There would need to be a chest display with a waveform on it as well then.

'Inter-planetary molecular extrusion'?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

She's learned the fine art of makeup application in zero-g.  Very important since the ship only has gravity under thrust
