Sorry gang, not going to be there. Overdid it a bit yesterday in the heat. See my blog for details.

Had a great time at the show today - nice to see everyone again, and meet some new faces too.
The weather stayed nice for the majority of the day, just getting a bit blowy with a hint of rain towards the end. Then on the way home I hit two patches of rain, but then I knew from the weather report in the morning that that was going to happen, so it was no great shock.

Haul from the show below. Almost all very good bargains and none of them excessive.

Heller 1/72nd Alouette III (yes, another one, but this one's got skis and Securite Civile markings) - £5
AZ 1/72nd Junkers EF128E-1 (the little tailless swept-wing fighter, this being the two-seater) - £15
HobbyCraft 1/72nd CF-100 Mk.4B - £12
Revell 1/72nd Dornier Do 335 A-1a Pfeil (very slightly part-started) - £5
Fujimi 1/72nd OA-4M Skyhawk with an ESCI Blue Angels Skyhawk AND an EA-6B decal sheet also in the box! - £10
Another example of the old Scale Aircraft Modelling Irish Air Corps roundels set - £1
A part-used decal sheet with some low vis RAF roundels and various Gulf War mascot decals - £1

Some of the pics of the SIG stand at the Show last weekend.

First, the whole stand, and then, from right to left, smaller sections. I'll post more pics later I expect.

Fred, you'll see your B-28.5 positioned in front of my Dalgety. I thought it would add a suitable bit of Oz-ness to the stand.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's a good looking display.

Thanks for taking the 28.5 Kit.  I hope it behaved.
My visit to the UK has been postponed due to Mrs z's medical issues so lucky old you get to take it visiting some more.
When we are coming over, or if you want to pass it back before then, i'll send you my parents address in Sussex to post it to.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
