And that puts it into a class of models that are acceptable, if you can come up with a backstory to explain all the discrepancies from real life. If the kit is an easy build, and if my knowledge of all the possible variants were anything more than P1127/Harrier/SHAR, I would probably buy one. Alternatively, if the price is okay. buy it for a youngster who is just starting out, and doesn't care about accuracy. I doubt that any of us did when we were 10 or 11, we just had something to make and play with.

Watch the video - it's an awful build and will scar a youngster for life.

Saw it back when Gary first posted it, in fact I linked to it somewhere on this forum with a warning about its (in)accuracy. Don't recall it being unbuildable, just a terrible representation.

Well he built it, so no it's not literally "unbuildable", but it took a TON of filler, the wings fit the fuselage where they touch and it would have looked awful if he hadn't put loads of extra effort and experience into it. Not exactly an ideal first build...

If the Alfa 158 is reasonably flash-less, it'll be  good buy. It was one the best Merit car kits, and one of the only two that came with an engine, the other being the 4.5 lite Tabot-Lago.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I've got one, mainly because I used to have a Smer one but I sold it to somebody on here, then had a sci-fi idea based on it years later, so I was glad to get the Mistercraft one. IIRC the wire wheels are the weakest point, being just clear discs with wires painted on. Fortunately mine won't need no steenkeeng wheels....

Exhibit A:

Here are the paint/decal instructions:

Aaaaand, here are the sprues... :o

Can anyone see the problem here, class? ;D

Exhibit B:

Here is the box for Mistercraft's "Harrier GR.7 Operation Herric":

Here are the paint/decal instructions:

Aaaaand here are the sprues   :

Please compare and contrast to the "Sea Harrier" sprues... :o  :o  :o

Also, here's a page from the instructions:

Note the four SPARROWS and Aden GUNPODS. On what's supposed to be an RAF GR.7... :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

Details! Mere details......! ;)  ;D  Both of my GR.7s have got gun pods...!  ;D

I started out 57 years ago and, I still don't care about accuracy! That's probably why I'm not flavour of the month in JMN City, a k a another well known modelling site whose name I will not mention! ;)  ;D
