This evening i did a lot of sanding and work on the main part of the cancel.
Soften the clear part with the candle and cool it down on metal.

Good tools are to see in the picture 😵💫

Ehm, maybe a bit late to the party but I have vacuum formed reproductions canopies for 1/72 ju-288 and -388 available. The plastic is the non-yellowing type.

I have one in spare, thank you
but maybe you can show us some pictures?

Today i put the spinner parts together on a base plate of sheet, they fit exactly in the engines and i glued them together.

I found some props left over from a He 111z and cut the blades off.

The engines and the spinners together will be good to handle for the following work...

This morning i could spend some time and work in a flow to fix all the 12 blades in one go.

For that i put a drop of classic glue on the blade and one to the counterpart at the spinner, let it stay until it is nearly dry, check that with the famous toothpick. Than put them together exactly as possible, a little turn and pressure and they will stay in a moment!

Think the engines looks like some powerful untits.

Good connection, need just a little bit of work later.

That was just one hour of work 😃 but a big step for the build. Now i need a good box to keep them without damage...
