Yes I realise this is a little bit left field, but I can honestly say, I believe some of the newly announced vehicles may peak the interest of the tank guys amongst us. Just scroll down past the walking pulpit to see what I mean  ;D

With the eye-watering prices of most Warhammer AFVs they're more a source of inspiration than something to purchase.

Agree 119.5% (It seems the GW bean counters got to that figure, too - or call it scale creep... oh, I crack me up!  ;D  )

With all the cheapish 1/35 armour around, you can easily use something like a Leopard or M-60 or M-1 for the running gear and tracks.

A long time ago I did start to create a backstory for a Chaos version of the Battle Sisters to be called The Daughters of Dionysus, members of the Adeptus sisterhood tempted to the dark side by the ancient God of wine, ecstasy, fertility, theatre, and religious frenzy. I lost the notes when an old hard drive crashed and the Warhammer figures are stashed somewhere in the loft

i like the sound of that one
I have the parts for my Space Viking force, i am going to mix Battle sisters and Space Wolf marines,   Just got to find that most difficult thing, Time
and for armour  i was going to use a mix of 1:48 ( for the light) and 1:35 ( for the heavy)  kits  S- Tanks, and Merkavas ....   its move back to the back burner again

The 6 wheeled AC looks very Saladin a like,  so would go well with the  massed infantry   but as mentioned above the idea of how much makes me shudder a bit.  The half track  rather less, as the Chimera is supposed to be more of the MICV for the normal human troops.  otherwise its supposed to be mainly foot sloggers.

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

For the required multiple units, it could be worth investigating exactly what's available in the 3D printing range; you can delete unwanted parts, add more of others, and get it printed to exactly the size you need - and not have a screed of wasted parts hanging around... just a thought.

There again, some of the stuff that's been superseded by better kits could be available at 'flog-off' prices, so... ehh...
