Yeah, exactly! The actual kits costs £30.0 and then there's TEN possible add-on bits ranging from £4.70 to £22!  :o

GULP!  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'm just finishing my Heller Alouette build and while i think the kit is ok, it's undoubtedly showing it's age. The detail is simple and raised, good for it's 1980 tooling but every part has significant mold lines so, lots of scrapping and sanding and there's the doubtful fit of the clear parts, missing details. Also, limited options for so many existing variants... Considering the images i've seen and the 45 year gap and their price, i believe the LF kit will be a much better option. I'm hoping either LF models or some brand will soon do the same for the Gazelle...
Regarding the 3D print accessories, i think it's a bit like Eduard does with their stuff. I'll be waiting to see if any PoAF versions are coming out. They operated these choppers in a few different configurations and during a long period so there could be a few different boxings just for those. Then there are the SAAF K- and G-car which were similar to PoAF's birds but still had some relevant differences so lots of possibilities for this one.
And BTW, a real 1/48 scale kit of the Alouette III is also needed as there is no kit currently available. Fujimi's and and Heller's kits are also oldies, OOP and, rare and overpriced in the 2nd hand market so, i wonder how long until we see a new kit...
