I really like Dizzy's and chrisonord's take on this

I have the Lindberg 1/48 Tiger in the stash (£2 from Home Bargains!) I expect it to be 'poor' but I might just attempt to model the prototype Wasp filching unashamedly from these wonderful builds!

I'm not sure if i saw Chris' build but i love the look of the F11F so i know i'll like it. 
IMHO, the F11F is one of the best looking aircraft ever designed in the 1950s.

Doesn't it? The paint scheme supports that, but the overall lines of the F11F are really Gnat-ish!
