Spent a week in York with a few old school mates and on one of our wanders, we negotiate via pubs (much more reliable than Google Maps) found Monk Bar Models, I knew it was York, but we still had to find it   Mainly a model railway shop but a great collection of Airfix plus a fair few offerings from the likes of ARMA, Special Hobby, KP, Azure etc. Also a full stock of Humbrol, enamel and acrylic in the new dropper bottles.

Thoroughly recommended if in York, a nice place, for a day or two and have half hour to spare

Nice pub over the road, lovely pint of Wainwrights

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh yeah, I've been there numerous times, WELL worth a search.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
