By a factor of at least 2.5!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

 ;D  ;D

I must admit I hadn't looked into the type at all, but my assumption was that is was a late 20/30's design. Thanks for putting me right Nick

I may still build it as a 30's aircraft serving in Manchuria or Korea.

I'm sure we could think of other things for it to tow, like a steampunk flying saucer or an Ian McQue-style anti-gravity work boat:

Exceptionally well detailed for such a tiny kit!

Could be a mobile airship/anti-grav ship docking station, rather than a tug.

The linked article says they were red, in a later note added in 2019.

Ah, I see that now. Black would look cool - 1930s Phillips but orange text on black rather than the usual black
text on orange. BP, Sinclair with the dinosaur etc.

Lots of options.  ;D ;)

Interestingly they also do the Doodlebug in 1/120th(TT) scale in their Hauler line:

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Are apparently reissuing their Alouette II (Sorry, full article behind a paywall)

Seems a patience tester with all that thin styrene!

It's photoetch, resin, vacuform canopies and injection moulded rotor blades.
The kit dates to 1998 and most of the structure is PE that has to be folded
to form the tailboom etc..
