I watched it earlier on Tested which I follow on You Tube. Should be relatively easy to spot Adam at one of these things by the film crew and other associated people around him.

Mmmm, maybe, but they film a lot on DLSRs nowadays and there's a lot of those being waved around at Comicon. Mind you, if you see Norm or Will then following them will probably bear fruit... ;)

Exactly.  The easiest for the Tested crew would be to get the unknown crewmembers out there with either Go-Pros or DSLRs looking like con attendees, and following Adam

And Incognito Part II, wherein a famous geek chef accompanies Adam, and they discuss "awful" costumes and how not to get busted by the Tested Crew

Yes I saw that as well, disappointing. It would be great to go there one year. Maybe I should plan doing so once I get a job.

I think they should have actually gone with the idea of making Will and Norm do a walk in those costumes.

Its on our bucket list as well, and there's a caravan park on the other side of San Diego that runs quarter-hourly bus service to the convention center.

I was actually slightly disappointed in the second walk as I was under the impression that the outfit was white and so were the faces of the characters  :-\
