Maths question.

I have a maths question to which I cannot seem to get an answer:

A 1/48 aircraft wheel has a diameter of 11 sixteenths of an inch. Can someone please tell me what the diameter would be in 1/32....this is driving me nuts . Please help.

(11 * 48)/32 = 16.5/16" = 33/32" = 1 1/32"

Some dirty tricks here: you can ignore that the measurement is 11/16", just use the 11 in the calculation, and stick it back on your result.

The size difference between 1:48 and 1:32 is 48/32 = 1.5

and working in millimetres will give a more accurate measurement.
