^ Yeah that was the one that prompted me to see if there were any closer to home. Oh well I'll keep a lookout for one down the line. Failing that the RS Ki-94 is "similar" so I may go for one of those.

Thanks for your help. Actually this is all your fault!  Your Ki-104 got me interested in Japanese late-war interceptors!!!

You might also check RS Models' Ki-100 and/or Ki-106. There are several kits available, and one of them has the external turbocharger option. Hard to find and tends to be expensive, though, that's why I cooked up my own alternative...
