(I have their type 052C Aegis style DDG which appears to be OOP, and is a rather nice resin kit)

DreamModel have now come out with a new 1/700 resin & etch conversion set, a new Island and weapon systems to convert the Trumpeter Kuznetsov kit into the new PLAN carrier Shi-lang (ex-Varyag). Available fronm their eBay store, so ordered one last night as i had a spare kuznetsove kit in the stach to convert to the Chinese carrier, so thats just made the job alot easier.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hang fire, the forum image update can be slow as a slow thing on a slow day. Brew a cup of tea, and by that I mean fly to India, snip some tea leaves, come back home and boil the kettle. Then it might be thinking about it.

In the meantime, here's the Hannants link I neglected to post, there's kit and sprue images there as well as the box top.

Let us know what it's like, looks like a very nice kit. I wondered if you'd get the other ordnance from their land based kit, but it looks like just the 3D ship missiles.
