Another Tempest? Something fishy here!

The Wooksta!

Another old model gets photographed.

This time, a Matchbox Tempest F.II in the markings of 7?? Sqandron FAA based at Lossimouth.  Why would a Navy training squadron get Tempests?  Familiarisation before they get the Sea Fury.

Good idea, and looks so real as well.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Or alternatively the Fury/Sea Fury was never built so the FAAonce again had to make do with a navalised land-based fighter?

Just like they did earlier this week, at least until yesterday anyway............
