I like Strikephoon, although is more likely to be an unofficial name.  Eurofigher, being the name of the consortium, is likely to stick.  Officially, a dedicated strike aircraft would probably simply be known as Typhoon Strike & Reconisance Aircraft or something equally imaginative.

In RAF service, the Hawker Typhoon when used in the fighter-bomber role was often called the Bomb-phoon or Tiffie-bomber, maybe that would have been taken up, at least by the pilots & Erks?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Have to admit I don't like either name !

I voted for Eurobomber, tho.....sounds better than strikephoon. It's just to hard to say. A nickname that is more work to say than the real name will never stick.
