It was a trainer/COIN type built by NDN which was founded by Desmond Norman, also known for founding Britten-Norman which built the Islander).  The Firecracker competed for the RAF trainer competition that was won by the Shorts Tucano. Neither the Firecracker or it's turbo counterpart gained any orders.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
