When my buddy sent me pics from Shocon, he also included some from Seattle.
Here is the Hypothetical Category.

I recognize several of these from the Nationals and several of the non whiffed models also.

That's some very impressive work! Some of those camo patterns are very inspiring! Thanks for posting the link.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That leopard print camouflage is outstanding and strongly reminds me of something our good friend Cthulu turned-out earlier this year.

Confuscious (maybe)

A few comments about the Seattle pix. First of all a few of those are mine - the Moonbat and XP-72 I think I posted here when I finished them earlier this year. The I-16 air racer and the McDonalds home delivery system (the V-1) are also mine. I had them on display to promote a new category for our '08 Spring Show, called Modelfy. Modelfy has been around Seattle contests for a number of years and we decided that the rest break was over - time to bring it back. The idea of Modelfy is to take a singular subject and make something "different" out of it. The only rule for Modelfy is that there must be at least 1 recognizeable part of the selected kit on the creation. The '08 subject is a 72nd scale AN-2, of which there are a number of kits. Mine, (if I ever get it started) will be a yellow school bus. The winner of Modelfy gets to select the kit subject for the following year. Past subjects included the HobbyCraft I-16, Monogram  F-14, AMT Z-28 Camaro, A Revell(?) rail dragster (the launch platform for my V-1), Monogram P-38, Airfix Fairey Rotodyne and the Monogram Wright flyer. It's a lot of fun and if you've never seen 2 booms from a Monogram P-38 built up as a pair of killer sharks then you're missing out!

You've got 5 months to get your AN-2 done for our Spring Show, April 19, 2008.  Whiff away!

Oh yes, the WW I subjects in the link were our '07 special category: Jasta Schweinhimmel. There were well over 30 entries in the category if I recall. We also did the Schneider '49 air races a few years ago as well
