Yours seems somehow more solid/robust than the pics I've seen of the real XFV-12.  I like yours better.
Maybe it's because its armed and/or wearing such an appropriate scheme.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

This is one of those pieces that catches my eye, and keeps me awake a good part of the night, enjoying every part of it

Incredibly good execution!!!

Part of the difference in the look may be that I enlarged and lengthened the nose to give it a decent radar.  The original had a shorter more pointed nose.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

great work!!!!!

Very nice!  I did one (unmodified) a few years back, and always thought a Hornet nose would look good on the thing.  I like the addition of forward fuselage hard points as well.

Great job!

Nice! I remember when I were a lad that I looked forward to this aircraft coming into service. Which it never did of course.

It doesn't even look like it would have the ability to fly !

That was why the real thing did not have the ability to fly! http://www.airbornegrafix.com/HistoricAircraft/Prototypes/XFV12.htm

But the model is superior
