It's a bit out of the way for most of you, but this week the 'national modeling convention' will be held again in the Air Force museum in Soesterberg. I've snuck a few what-ifs into the IPMS display (my RNLAF TSR.2 and RAF BAe-146 AEW), and I'll be at the museum next Thursday and Friday, at the 'build table', working on my models and explaining the build process to the public.

The NMM is over, picked up my models yesterday. I enjoyed the two days I spent at the museum building models and explaining to the punters. Most of the visitors were parents/grandparents with little kids (a bit too young to really get into scale modelling), but hopefully we've planted some seeds.

I had my SR.177 with me, and to my surprise there were a few visitors who identified it more or less correctly. One of them had seen the SR.53 perform at a UK airshow (Farnborough, probably) when he was a lad.

I've made a few photos, but haven't sorted them out yet.
