My local Wal-Mart now stocks some of those new 21st Century kits so I bought one to check out how good these kits are.
I have little interest in the Bf 109F but I have read some good things about this kit and wanted to see what all the fuss is about.

Here are some pics.

This is the decal sheet included in the 109F kit. Looks very very good!

Check out the holes for the screws in the fuselage.

The fit of the wing to the fuselage, not perfect but very nice. All the parts that I did dry fit clicked together very well.

Interesting, see how the parts are bagged instead of using sprues like most other kits.

This is a very nice kit but not as good as the Hasegawa kits, but the decal sheet is much better and the price is less than a third of the Hasegawa 109 kits.

21st Century also makes 1/32 scale kits of the Zero, Corsair, Stuka, and the Macchi C. 202 Folgore.

I will get the Macchi kit when I can, painting the smoke ring camo should be fun to do.

I almost grabbed one of them myself yesterday....they were only 10 bucks or something...for a 32nd scale kit !

I have bought and sold more of these than I can count.

I still have a Macchi and a 109 here at the house.

I bought them in the US, and brought them back here to sell to the local guys for $20, and they sold like hotcakes.

My last trip over to the US I picked up 14 kits, and I had all but the one Macchi and 109 sold in about a week when I came back.

Out of the 5 kits, the Zero is the dog of the bunch.

The 109 is very nice, as is the Macchi.....that is once you get past the color of the plastic, as the Macchi has that look like the plastic will glow in the dark (not sure if it will...never actually tried it).

Both the Corsair and the Stuka are excellent kits, and are also the 2 that are the hardest to find. On my trip down through Maine, NH, Vermont and Northern NY, I visited 14 WalMarts in 3 days, and I only found a pair of Corsairs and Stukas in one of the 14 stores. It seemed that they either had none, only had the Zero, or had the 109 and Macchi.

I actually have kept a Stuka kit for myself it is that nice!!!

These kits are a bargain!
The decal sheet by itself is almost reason alone to get one of these kits.

Yes the decal sheets are awesome.

The Stuka sheet has the big arse snake that goes down each side....it is quite a piece of art work really!!!!

It doesn't say who makes the decals, but suffice it to say I am sure 21st Century toys farms out the decals to the decal professionals....I am sure you would find that they are actually made by Super Scale, or Cartograph or the like.

viper29_ca,

The decal sheet looks every bit as good as those sold by EagleEditions and for the price of one of those EagleCal sheets you can buy a complete 21st Century kit.
