1/72 scale (as usual with me, not enough room and lack of interest for details  explain I never built  1/48    )

I plan to use a big electric wire to make the refueling hose.

All in all, all I miss is a horse figure
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Archibald,
Check out the Walthers model RR catalog, they have a lot of things that are useful in model dios including animals.

Isn"t HO close to 1/72?  Also, didn"t someone manufacture 1/72 American West figures with horses?

Arch, great idea for a diorama. Can't wait to see it finished.

Not sure Liccorice is a good name for you cat, looks like someone took a bite out of her ear!     Cats do love to lay right in the middle of the hobby area don't they?   Make sure you rub under her chin for me!

Arch,
The Hasagawa M-3 Stuart comes with a horse and rider.
If interested, I can send you mine.  Will need a repaint and some work on the rider.
PM me your snail mail and I will get them in the post (Pony Express, of course).

Hmmm life is hard for cats where I live... over the years many of our cats simply vanished   :(  <_< after less than 3 years.
Pistache - Reglisse's mother- lived 11 years and left us 18 months ago  :(
Think she was the craziest cat which ever lived on earth...

Things are quieter now... even if  Reglisse lost a small part of its ears fighting against other cats.

I use to paint my models in the attic for a long time. Reglisse didn't give a damn about that... until some days ago. Every time I enter the attic now, she come and spread havoc on my workbench. Nothing nasty, she just need affection...
when I used the plaster yesterday, I chase her from the attic. It was quite easy - just said two words in loud voice and she was out-

Philp, I like your proposal - I PM you ASAP.

Hmmm don't know what happen, but this damned plaster don't dry... funnily, its looks like Black rocks desert after a heavy rain... a brown, cold mud.

Take your pick here Archie, plenty of horses in these sets:

Also these Cowboy sets, you woludn't need to sratch a rider then:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Archibald

Cowboy would be cool, as Yeager is more or less presented as one in the movie.
I know were to find some horse/ rider figures...  ;)

Wow, seems there's an understanding problem there. The first pic was a screen shot of the movie

First shot of the true thing (the horse in drying, as the driver)
