Yes, it's true...I was picked to supply next years calendar for a company back east.  I use live models, greenscreened, and shop in pics of model aircraft and scenery...so, I am looking for some 1500x2000 + size pics, in colour, of your models as if they were viewed from the tarmac...if you can use a solid colour backdrop as a screen that would be great! Yes, you get mentioned in the calendar. No, you don't get $$$, yet. If we sell all of next year's out, then there will be financial compensation.  There is no way I can build all twelve models and take pictures of the girls, and process, in time, and you guys are some of the best builders in the world.

  Let me know...and thanks!

Are we talking real-world stuff or whiffs Greg?
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Greg,
I am very interested, what kind of planes would be needed?

I have a number Luft 46 types and a few real world Luftwaffe thingies (a Bf 109 & He 162 to be finished soon).

There is no requirement for reality...though the more grounded in plausibility, the better.  Suffice to say, anyone who's pictures gets used receives a calendar along with the blurb about her/him below the pic.

If possible though, the shots would need to be from eye level, as if you were looking at a real craft, and shot against a bright green or blue backround, so I can remove it using Pshop, and insert the new backround.

This is going to be soooo cool.

You may remember one of the early pics:

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I'd be keen to contribute. I'm thinking the Vietnam Mustang, or maybe the TTT Zero, or the TSR.2, or K5054, or the deer-hunting Hughes 500...........

It is a calendar for 2008, so sometime before October would be great !  I need shots that are at least 1500x2000, if not larger.  So far, the client is quite excited by the project.

I'll run it by Jessi, but I doubt she'll go for it...LOL

Greg,
Its a good thing there is such a long lead time, this time of year it is not easy for me to get outside and take good pictures of my models because of the rain and storms that are the norm for my area.
I just got my power back after the last storm that hit the Oregon coast, I was lucky this time and suffered no damage to my home...others were not so lucky. :(

Not necessarily... send me whatever you think would look good...I am going to store them in a file and then send it off to the client, so he can pick the one's he wants to use.
 Cool shot, DKS !
