Withe the increasing Red air threat of the 1930's numerous smaller Alliance Airforces were helped to re-equip under the AMAP plan. Denmark's was one of these and initially replaced it's Hawker Nimrod's with ex Arme l'Air Dweotine 510's

Delivered from French stocks they continued to wear standard French camo of the period. They remained in Danish service until they were replaced by Hurricane I's supplied by the UK in 1938. Although the Danish fighters were impressed with the extra speed of the Huricane they missed the engine mounted cannon of the D 510.

Model is the Heller kit (lovely little build   ) with markings from the spares box. I think they are from an old Frog F.104 as the sheet had Danish, Italian and Luftwaffe markings. So I must have had it in my teen's which means it's possibly 40 years old, and still went on well  :o

Final shot. I was personally pleased with this one. First time I'd used a rattle can for the NMF and it got me over a bit of a phobia of that type of finish.

Next up are a series of Fokkers and Hurricanes.

Great! well done...lovely kit :)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
