If you intend to do this WHIF in 1/72nd scale, it looks like you will be needing the wings from a 1/48th scale MiG-29 to accomplish the conversion.  The wing sections look like they were enlarged with that general shape to fit the existing fuselage.  It would be very interesting to see this accomplished in a 3D model.  

How soon will you be finished?
