I actually have the day to myself for once: no work today, wife and child gone for better part of the day.

Naturally, I cannot find the four little parts I need to finish my "Lacombe" (landing gear doors).

I even have the little box they had been stuck to for spraypainting.  Like some twisted little tease, the overspray is still on the box, leaving behind an outline of each of the missing parts.

Obviously, I detached them and put them somewhere but, of course, it was clearly not the "in progress" box for this project.  Nah, that would've made too much sense!

ARRRRRRGH!!!

Radish

Just make some more, spray them up, attach them and you'll find the missing parts straight away.
Always works.
Who needs u/c doors anyway!

On this site I always thought it was the other way around: First you lose your mind, then your model parts. B)

Well, went through ALL my mini-collections of junk for all the stuff I currently have in progress.  Ended up actually organizing it all much better too.

But I never found those four doors, frick!

So, I've gone out and bought a second of this kit, just for the doors.

Ms. Hitler's gonna kill me.

Now, I have to come up with something original to do with this second kit, too.

I'd like to do a two-seat version as an RCAF trainer.

Lotta work, though.

Barry, did you consult your spread sheets first?     Glad I'm not the only one who loses things at the most inopportune times.

I had my own little boneheaded fiasco this weekend, put the decals on my vtail banshee and then realized I didn't put down any gloss coat first...DOH! well of course after they dried they have that lovely mirror like finish so I spent another hour painting as close to the decals images as I can because I don't have another set of decals I can use. I knew this project was going to smoothly.

Of course now that you've bought that second kit you'll find those missing doors  :P
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

You know they're on the floor somewhere, stomped into little bits.
