Any road.....here's how I stuck my bombs on. Added 4 TERS from Monogram Hornet kits to the Phoenix rails.

Great looking bench, btw...you're one bust man !

B) I like. I never thought a Tomcat would look really good...or at least not grey...damned air superiority finishes...I want me one of them! But the Luftwaffe camo makes it look a look like a Super Tornado or something along those lines...

Captain Canada

It does look good, eh ?! Funny you mention the Tornado, as that's exactly what I copied the scheme from....a photo supplied to me by my good friend Patrick H !

Long live the Tomcat !

Found a Hasegawa MER in one of my boxes - I'm supposed to have at least a few more laying around, but I only found the one. And it fits like hand in glove on the racks - with enough space for a sixpack on each station. This thing is a total truck... Still going to use smart weapons, though - Don't have enough MERs to go around. Gotta get me another couple of Set As...

Right now I'm waiting for the batteries in my camera to finish recharging - that'll be a while. I'm going to be working on the decals this afternoon. as I just finished assembling the canopy - which was a pain in the butt. The WSO's rear-view mirror vanished somewhere on my floor, and I'm probably never going to see it again. I also still don't have any seats, though I'm still looking. There must be at least a couple more boxes hidden away in the basement that I haven't retrieved yet - I'm missing too much stuff for it to be otherwise...

Always knew that bugger should've replaced the A-6E...

stick a TRAM turret under the nose in place of the TV camera, replace the AWG-9 with an attack/terrain following radar, F101 engines in place of the TF30  ;)

I can see it now: Grumman A-14A, carrying 4 2000lb Paveway under the fuselage, a Harpoon under each wing and a couple of 'winders for self-defence

Todd, she looks great.

Seb, keep up the great work, mate!  ;)

Harpoon *was* in the cards, back in the early 90's. I *think* they performed captive carry tests. (The new pylon that the LANTIRN pod goes on was supposed to be usable for other stores as well). And 4x2000 lb is valid, although the Paveway fins are a little too bulky. JDAMs, though...

I've added the first few decals to the jet - the tails, the national insignia, and one wing worth of "no step" stencils. I'm going to go insane trying to place all those things... The camera is acting up, so I can't post any pictures yet.

Wow, Todd.  That's bold.
How the heck is the contact point where the screw in the little L-bracket joins to the plane not cracking the plastic with all that weight forward of the connection?

It does look like some kind of super Tornado to me, too.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.
