Those Hunters are cool and everything, but the really important question is - what car did he come round in?  :P

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

Cool! I think he should leave the 3D camo and maybe add some shrubs  :dum:

Update, update !

The two Hunters and the Gina were finished some weeks back. In the intervening time I have been busy putting two Phantoms together for the GB over on ARC.

However I have found time for Whiffery

The Viggen FR1 is now built and undercoated.

Featuring dropped flaps and stabilisers, wing tanx from one of the JASDF (Heller) Mirages, 'winders, an Ajax ECM pod from a passing Hasegawa Tornado and the extended fin from the JA-37; my 'Thunderbolt' will be wearing 41 Sqn decals from either a Modeldecal sheet or the Italeri Jaguar and painted in standard eighties Dark Sea Grey/Dark Green wraparound.

Update, update 2

The Viggen GR1 (dunno why I called it a FR1   ), is now proudly wearing its' Dark Sea Grey base coat, just waiting to be masked tonight and sprayed Dark Green (prolly Monday afternoon).

Construction has halted on all other projects until this puppy is finished. It is aiming to make its' big entrance at Coventry next Saturday.... and who am I to say no !
