OK, I was in the mall this weekend and my wife drug me into the Hallmark Card shop, while there I spotted a really small GEE BEE so I bought it.

After I got home I decided to make it a WWII navy version, what the heck was I thinking?     This bad boy is pretty dog gone small. I cut a piece of sprue off a kit I had near by did some sanding and made a drop tank and some bombs. the bomb fins were made from sheet styrene and let me tell you this is much smaller than I care to try again! slapped some paint on it (not too neatly I might add) and am now trying to figure out decals.

You can see some before and after pics here:

Cool. All you need to do is add some outrageously large wing guns and you've got something straignt out of Crimson Skies...

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Great!  And wise idea that may have pleased admirals, at least in foreign countries having tiny carriers where room is a huge issue. ;)

Sweet Jeff! Guess I'm not the only one here who enjoys the tiny stuff.  B)

Hmmm, interesting, you mind if I steal your idea and elaborate on it a hair? I'm thinking cut and fold the wings, paint it in some obscure small countries markings, think up a backstory where that small country gets a tiny little carrier Lend-Lease and puts these little bastages on it. Nice work, BTW.

Wow, and here I was having a heckuva time working with 1:48 scale scratchbuilt missile fins!!!   :o

Could not even contemplate working with this size subject.  Then again, the bits and pieces of larger scale models that we all work with....never thought of it that way.  No wonder my eyeglasses are thick enough to start a bushfire on a sunny day!

So, for the experten out there, what scale would Jeff's G-B work out to?
